LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Metropolis of Henderson honored the women and men who served our nation throughout its annual Veterans Day Ceremony Saturday morning on the Water Avenue Plaza Amphitheater.
Mayor Michelle Romero, alongside members of the Henderson Metropolis Council, joined veterans and their households for a solemn tribute, as 32 new names had been unveiled on the Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall.
When the memorial was first created, 1,213 names had been engraved. Right this moment, practically 2,000 veterans are completely honored on the wall.

The ceremony featured a presentation of colours by the Metropolis of Henderson Honor Guard, a roll name of native veteran organizations, and a musical salute to the U.S. Armed Forces carried out by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.
The ceremony was an emotional second for veterans like Charles Lombardo, who served within the Air Pressure throughout the Vietnam Warfare
“All my brothers and sisters sacrificed a lot to keep our country safe, and it’s an honor that we’re recognized,” Lombardo stated
