Wildfire briefing set as season arrives; northeast Nevada below extreme drought

As wildland firefighters gear up for what may very well be a tough 12 months forward, Gov. Joe Lombardo will host Nevada’s annual wildfire briefing on Wednesday in Carson Metropolis.
