Three males charged with plotting Las Vegas bus cease homicide

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Greater than three years after a person was gunned down at a bus cease, three males are in custody and going through homicide expenses for allegedly plotting the assault.

Ta Jon Walker, 23, Alexander Hinton, 26, and Devante Reynolds, 32, are charged with homicide and conspiracy to commit homicide. Nicolas Thomas was shot within the coronary heart on Nov. 18, 2021, whereas he waited at a bus cease on the nook of Nellis Boulevard and Boulder Freeway, in line with court docket paperwork.

After initially denying any involvement within the capturing, Las Vegas Metropolitan police stated the three males admitted to the crime after viewing surveillance video of the capturing and the suspect car, in addition to different proof gathered by investigators. The report stated the footage confirmed Thomas was shot “without any provocation.”

In line with the arrest report, Reynolds revealed to police he was the “getaway” driver, Hinton confessed to offering the handgun used within the capturing, and Walker admitted to doing the capturing.

Walker instructed police he had an altercation on a bus earlier that night with Thomas during which Thomas confronted him and pushed him off the bus, the report stated.

Shortly after the 2021 capturing, one other individual was recognized as a suspect within the case and was arrested and charged with homicide. Nonetheless, the investigation couldn’t tie him to Thomas’ capturing, and the fees in opposition to him had been dropped.

All three suspects are within the Clark County Detention Heart awaiting a preliminary listening to on March 10.
