Southern Nevada group evacuated as hearth crews combat 15-acre hearth

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Southern Nevada group within the Humboldt-Toiyabe Nationwide Forest was evacuated as hearth crews labored to combat a 15-acre hearth Sunday, in keeping with the Clark County Fireplace Division.

CCFD city items, volunteer items, the Bureau of Land Administration and america Forest Service hearth suppression items responded to the 15-acre hearth that was threatening the group of Trout Canyon within the Humboldt-Toiyabe Nationwide Forest, in keeping with CCFD.

Aviation assets performed water drops, and the city was being evacuated Sunday night, CCFD mentioned.

Trout Canyon and Lovell Summit Roads have been closed, and there was no public entry to the world as of Sunday night.
