Pedestrian dies 1 day after crash at I-11 onramp at Galleria Drive

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian who was hit on Tuesday evening died on Wednesday at a hospital, in keeping with data launched Friday by the Nevada State Police Freeway Patrol.

A preliminary investigation decided that the pedestrian was exterior a marked crosswalk when getting into the roadway at about 7:39 p.m. on Jan. 7 close to the northbound onramp to Interstate 11/U.S. 95 at Galleria Drive in Henderson.

Freeway patrol didn’t determine the pedestrian. The identification might be launched by the Clark County coroner’s workplace following notification of subsequent of kin.

The investigation is being carried out by the NSP Freeway Patrol’s Visitors Murder Unit. The NSP Southern Command has investigated 4 lethal crashes leading to 4 fatalities to date in 2025.
