Officers investigating 'unknown substance' in southeast Las Vegas valley constructing

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An unknown substance in a southeast valley constructing prompted a hazardous supplies response by the Henderson Hearth Division Thursday afternoon.

At round 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, the Henderson Hearth Division responded to the 400 block of South Boulder Freeway close to East Lake Mead Parkway in response to a hazardous supplies name.

In accordance with the Metropolis of Henderson, the hearth division is on scene investigating an “unknown substance.”

Whereas the town didn’t specify what constructing was concerned, the Boulder Freeway United States Postal Service constructing is situated within the response block.

The constructing was evacuated, and no accidents had been reported. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division’s ARMOR unit was requested.

The town stated the state of affairs remained energetic as of 4 p.m.
