LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevadans will quickly have a brand new solution to symbolize their faculty spirit on the freeway.
A brand new specialty license plate honoring Nevada State College has formally been accepted, signed by Governor Joe Lombardo on Friday.
“We’re thrilled to offer our community another way to show their pride and passion for Nevada State,” Dr. DeRionne Pollard, President of Nevada State College, mentioned. “This license plate is more than just a symbol of school spirit—it’s an investment in our students, our athletics, and the future of Nevada.”
The specialty plate does greater than present faculty satisfaction. Proceeds will profit two key initiatives at Nevada State: launching its new athletics program and supporting college students dealing with meals insecurity — efforts that replicate the college’s rising function in supporting each pupil success and the broader Nevada neighborhood.
The design of the license plate features a sharp black background trimmed within the faculty’s signature gold, fronted by the college’s hanging Scorpion mascot.
The license plate might be accessible to order by means of the Nevada Division of Motor Automobiles this fall.
