NDOT crews assist corral cow 'on the run' close to Las Vegas freeway

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Some crews engaged on an I-15 street challenge took on an additional task as momentary cowboys to assist seize a cow on the unfastened close to the freeway.

The cow had reportedly been seen roaming close to Velocity Vegas, south of the town close to the Sloan Street exit for a number of days.

Animal management tried to seize the cow Monday round 10 a.m. however the cow made a run for it “taking off down Las Vegas Boulevard and even attempting to enter I-15 via the Sloan Road off-ramp,” in line with Kelsey McFarland with the Nevada Division of Transportation.

An NDOT crew engaged on the close by I-15 South Widening Venture rapidly jumped into motion when it turned apparent the cow did not need to take part.

“Avoiding udder chaos! NDOT crews helped corral a runaway cow that was mooooving a little too close to traffic near Interstate 15 and St. Rose Parkway,” NDOT stated on an Instagram submit.

At one level, the cow took off within the course of the M Resort and the NDOT employees used their autos to assist cease and nook the unwilling cow close to Las Vegas Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway the place animal management was capable of seize it.

“Thankfully, there were no cowlisions and this bovine was brought to safety by animal control,” NDOT’s submit on social media stated.
