MS-13 gang member needed for theft arrested on Las Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — U.S. Marshals arrested a beforehand deported MS-13 gang member on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday.

The U.S. Marshals Service Nevada Violent Offender Activity Power recognized and arrested 39-year-old Dennis Solares-Garcia on expenses associated to a theft that occurred in Utah.

In keeping with the U.S. Marshals Service, Solares-Garcia robbed a retailer in Utah and stole an undisclosed sum of money whereas brandishing a firearm.

St. George police requested help from the U.S. Marshals Service Utah Violent Fugitive Apprehension Strike Workforce who acquired info that Solares-Garcia was in Las Vegas.

At round 11:30 a.m., Nevada U.S. Marshals tracked Solares-Garcia to the 2800 block of Las Vegas Boulevard, the place he was taken into custody. He was later booked into the Clark County Detention Heart, the report stated.

“An MS-13 gang member responsible for a violent crime was removed from the community today,” U.S. Marshal Gary Schofield stated. “Thanks to the diligent investigative work of all involved agencies, he can no longer pose a threat.”
