Jaime Mendoza, 54, was arrested on Dec. 1 on costs of tried homicide of a primary responder, resisting a public officer with a firearm, aggravated stalking, housebreaking of a car, kidnapping, disobeying a peace officer and sexual assault, data confirmed.

On Nov. 29, Metro police responded to a report of a kidnapping and sexual assault within the 600 block of North Christy Lane close to Washington Avenue. Mendoza was recognized because the suspect within the crime and was identified to drive a crimson Toyota RAV4.
