Man accused of hitting, killing bicyclist whereas out of custody on separate DUI cost

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas man accused of hitting and killing a 62-year-old man using an e-bike faces a separate DUI cost in a previous pending case, a Las Vegas choose said Saturday.

Jesus Robles Jr. faces expenses of DUI, reckless driving, failure to correctly keep a journey lane, and failure of proof of insurance coverage, amongst different expenses.

Robles appeared in courtroom Saturday in entrance of Las Vegas Justice Court docket Choose Holly Stoberski after he was arrested Friday. In accordance with police, on Friday round 2 p.m. Robles was driving an unregistered black 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on Jones Boulevard, north of the intersection with Elkhorn when, for unknown causes, he failed to keep up his lane. Robles then entered the bike lane, hitting a 62-year-old man on an e-bike, police stated.

The bicyclist was taken to a neighborhood hospital the place he was later pronounced useless. Robles stayed on the scene and confirmed indicators of impairment, police stated. He was arrested and brought to the Clark County Detention Middle.
