LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A pupil was discovered with a gun on the campus of an east Las Vegas valley elementary faculty on Thursday.
The gun was discovered at Tom Williams Elementary Faculty, which is positioned close to Pecos Highway and Lake Mead Boulevard, in response to Carrie Reasbeck the varsity’s principal.
“As principal, my top priority is to ensure your child is safe at school and to keep you informed of important matters happening within our school community,” Reasbeck acknowledged in a letter to households on Thursday.
The weapon was reported to CCSD police for investigation, and no different data was launched.
