Las Vegas organizing strike group to assist battle devastating Southern Califorina wildfires

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Firefighters are being despatched to Southern California to assist combat the out-of-control wildfires which have charred hundreds of acres and destroyed greater than 1,000 buildings in Los Angeles County.

Clark County’s Workplace of Emergency Administration mentioned it’s organizing a strike group after receiving a request for assist from the state of California Wednesday morning. Engines and personnel from Las Vegas valley fireplace departments are anticipated to go away for California on Wednesday afternoon.
