Las Vegas fifth-grader wins vacation billboard art work contest

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A Las Vegas fifth-grade scholar will now get the last word spot to indicate off their creative expertise and creativity.

Jayceon Cruz of Gene Ward Elementary College was chosen because the winner of Clark County’s Winter Billboard Paintings contest.

Cruz’s art work will be seen on a billboard situated at Harry Reid Worldwide Airport.

The revealing ceremony befell on Thursday morning on the Siegfried and Roy Park.

The art work was chosen for its distinctive inventive interpretation of this semester’s theme, “Holidays Around the World.”

The challenge was a collaboration effort with the Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson and Connell Outside Promoting.

The initiative celebrates and promotes the creative abilities of younger minds in our neighborhood a minimum of twice a yr.
