Lake Powell's Wahweap Major boat ramp going out of service after weekend

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Nationwide Park Service is shutting down Lake Powell’s Wahweap Major Launch Ramp on Monday, Aug. 18, as water ranges decline.

It is the busiest ramp on the nation’s second-largest reservoir, however officers say will probably be “inoperable” after this weekend. All different providers and the Wahweap Major courtesy dock will stay open.
