Lady killed in crash involving motorbike, semi-truck

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 69-year-old lady was killed final week in a crash involving a bike and a semi-truck.

On Monday, Aug. 11, at round 2 p.m., the Nevada Freeway Patrol responded to a crash on northbound U.S. 95 simply south of mile marker 107.

The preliminary investigation confirmed that each a black Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck and a 2013 Harley Davidson Heritage motorbike had been driving north on US95, with the motorbike in the correct journey lane.

The motorcyclist tried to vary lanes in an unsafe method, inflicting the aspect of the semi-truck to hit the motorbike.

The motorbike was redirected to the northeast and overturned, ejecting each the rider and the passenger. Medical personnel took the motorbike rider to a neighborhood hospital with critical accidents.

Medical personnel pronounced the motorbike passenger, 69-year-old Chamroon Sasser from Henderson, lifeless on the scene.

The Nevada State Police Freeway Patrol has investigated 40 deadly crashes leading to 41 fatalities thus far this yr.
