Lady dies in hit-and-run crash in southwest Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A girl died Monday morning after getting hit by a automobile in a hit-and-run incident within the southwest Las Vegas valley.

The crash occurred round 6:30 a.m. on Jones Boulevard south of Flamingo Highway outdoors a marked crosswalk. Authorities say the lady was crossing the road when she was hit by an older mannequin sedan, which left the scene after the crash.

Emergency responders took the lady to a close-by hospital, however she later died because of her accidents, police stated. Her id has not but been launched.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division’s Deadly Element is investigating the incident. Metro urges commuters to seek out alternate routes.
