Injured hiker rescued at Purple Rock Canyon exterior Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A person was rescued and airlifted after injuring his decrease leg whereas mountain climbing at Calico 1 in Purple Rock Nationwide Conservation Space on Sunday.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division Search and Rescue stated {that a} hiker and their good friend have been heading again to the path when the hiker misplaced their steadiness and damage their leg. The good friend went again to the car parking zone to name 911.

Clark County Fireplace Division first responders hiked in to achieve the hiker. Las Vegas Fireplace Division joined and helped with the rescue.

The Search and Rescue group used a hoist to carry the injured hiker out. They have been taken to a fireplace station after which transported by ambulance.
