Household mourns 20-year-old Henderson motorcyclist killed in crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The household and pals of a 20-year-old man killed in a motorbike crash on Friday held a vigil on Monday, days after the crash.

Logan Hodson of Henderson was driving a motorbike on Friday round 10 p.m. when a crash happened on the intersection of Frank Sinatra Drive and Reno Avenue.

Las Vegas Metro police stated a truck made a left flip from southbound Frank Sinatra Drive onto Reno Avenue and crossed into the trail of the motorbike touring northbound.

Hodson was later pronounced useless on the scene, police stated.

On Monday night time, dozens of family and friends members introduced blue balloons and candles to the scene of the crash in honor of Hodson.

“I would just really like to ask people to please, please just follow the traffic laws,” Georjet Hodson, the mom of Logan stated. “Because of this, I lost my firstborn, and it’s going to take a really long time to get through it.”

The crash marks the 131st traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction this 12 months. The crash stays beneath investigation.
