Highway rage incident results in lethal capturing on Las Vegas freeway

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An individual was shot and killed on a Las Vegas freeway after charging a car with a knife, in keeping with Metro police.

Round 6:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a capturing that stemmed from a highway rage incident on westbound 215 Southern Beltway between Jones and Rainbow boulevards.

Police stated an individual who was armed with a knife charged at one other car after which was shot. The particular person was pronounced useless on the scene and the shooter was detained by police.

All westbound lanes on the 215 had been closed between Jones and Rainbow boulevards, police stated. Drivers are requested to keep away from the realm and use different routes.
