LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Henderson’s Animal Care and Management division has a brand new title because it transitions from the Henderson Police Division to the Division of Neighborhood Improvement Companies.
Animal Care and Management will now be often called Animal Safety Companies, town introduced Tuesday.
The town mentioned the title, which was established in collaboration with workers, now “more accurately reflects the division’s services and aligns with the terminology used by similar agencies nationwide.”

The title change comes after the Metropolis of Henderson introduced the division could be transitioning from the Henderson Police Division to the Division of Neighborhood Improvement and Companies.
Adjustments and updates to workers uniforms, automobiles, paperwork, social media, town web site, and shelter signage are anticipated within the coming weeks and months.
