Free shredding occasion deliberate in Henderson for Oct. 2

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Want a secure solution to get rid of medical information or monetary statements that comprise data that might be used to steal your id? There’s an upcoming shredding occasion.

One Nevada Credit score Union will maintain a free neighborhood shred day on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Inexperienced Valley department positioned at 1090 W. Sundown Highway in Henderson.

Papers that have to be shredded needs to be freed from binders, giant clips, or different non-paper gadgets. The papers will probably be shredded onsite.

“Shred Day is a simple but important way for the community to protect their personal information while also helping those in need,” stated Lisa Jansen, Assistant Vice President of Group Engagement. “We’re proud to partner with Three Square Food Bank to support their mission of ending hunger in Southern Nevada.”

Whereas the occasion is free, One Nevada is accepting money contributions and non-perishable meals donations for the Three Sq. Meals Financial institution.
