Former Rep. Mayra Flores’s (R-Texas) marketing campaign staff mentioned she was hospitalized on Tuesday, hours after launching a problem towards Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) within the state’s twenty eighth Congressional District.

Flores launched her bid towards Cuellar hours earlier, telling Fox Information in an interview that there aren’t many voices “talking to the Spanish-speaking community about the amazing work President Trump is doing, and his administration.”
“And that is one thing that I really feel I am obligated to do, as a result of there’s lots of misinformation being unfold from the left, and so they’re attempting to instill worry and hate within the Hispanic neighborhood,” she instructed the community.
Flores represented Texas’s thirty fourth Congressional District from June 2022 to January 2023 after profitable a particular election. She was ousted by Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas).
Cuellar is seen as one of many extra weak Home Democrats going into the 2026 midterms.
