Federal indictment alleges scheme involving 12 defendants took more than $14 million in COVID loans

A Las Vegas-based tax preparer and 11 others described as co-conspirators were indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury in connection with a COVID-19 relief loan application scheme worth more than $14 million.
