Driver faces hit-and-run fees after putting man in east Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A driver is going through hit-and-run fees following a crash that left a person critically injured.

The crash was reported shortly earlier than 11 p.m. on Sunday at East Flamingo and Mojave roads.

Based on Las Vegas Metropolitan police, Luis Fuentes-Ramirez, 30, was touring eastbound on Flamingo when he struck a person crossing the street close to Mojave and left the scene after briefly stopping. The 32-year-old man who was hit was not in a marked crosswalk and suffered life-threatening accidents.

Police mentioned Fuentes-Ramirez returned to the scene of the crash, the place it was decided he was not impaired however was taken into custody on hit-and-run fees.
