Decide refuses Trump admin's request to unseal Ghislaine Maxwell grand jury supplies

A federal choose on Monday refused the Justice Division’s request to unseal grand jury supplies used to cost Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime confederate of convicted intercourse offender Jeffrey Epstein. 

The Trump administration seemed to interrupt the traditional secrecy of grand jury proceedings amid mounting public strain, together with from a lot of the president’s political base, to launch extra information on the case. 

“Contrary to the Government’s depiction, the Maxwell grand jury testimony is not a matter of significant historical or public interest. Far from it,” U.S. District Decide Paul Engelmayer wrote in his 31-page ruling.
