Conductor Daniel Barenboim says he has been recognized with Parkinson’s illness.

The 82-year-old issued a press release Thursday on Instagram.

He has appeared extra frail since 2022, canceling scheduled performances that included a brand new manufacturing of Wagner’s Ring Cycle in Berlin.
