Clark County crews battle fireplace at southwest Las Vegas buying middle

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Hearth Division is investigating a fireplace at a busy southwest Las Vegas valley buying middle that occurred on Friday afternoon.

CCFD obtained experiences shortly after 3 p.m. of black smoke coming from a constructing within the 6900 block of Arroyo Crossing Parkway close to Rainbow Boulevard and Sundown Highway.

When fireplace crews arrived, they positioned black smoke coming from a trash compactor connected to the again of a Finest Purchase constructing. The variety of crews referred to as in to help with the fireplace was upgraded to 6 fireplace engines after the preliminary engine arrived on the scene, CCFD mentioned.

The hearth was extinguished round 3:45 p.m.

The reason for the fireplace remained beneath investigation Friday night time, in keeping with CCFD.
