CCSD police have seized weapons, ammunition, and medicines

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Clark County college police have peeled again the curtain on the weapons officers have discovered on campuses this college 12 months. 

Six months into the brand new college 12 months, officers with the Clark County College District Police Division have seized 24 weapons. Twelve of them belonged to college students.

By a public data request, 8 Information Now obtained a number of pictures and police stories ranging from August 2024 on the weapons CCSDPD seized. 

In keeping with a police report dated Sept. 17, officers arrived at Del Sol Academy to discover a pupil and workers member in a battle. The Clark County College District’s coverage states any pupil caught with a gun on campus is instantly expelled.
