LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nellis Air Power Base is reporting its most important gate is closed following a capturing early Wednesday morning.

In line with the Las Vegas Metropolitan police, a person opened fireplace on the most important gate and pointed his gun at base safety round 12:30 a.m. Nellis AFB safety officers fired on the man, hanging him within the leg.
The person was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening accidents.
Nellis reported on its Fb web page that the primary gate is closed till additional discover and the Simons Gate shall be open to assist with visitors.
