CCSD police arrest elementary faculty trainer accused of lewdness with baby

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A Clark County Faculty District elementary faculty trainer was arrested on Thursday after being accused of lewdness with a toddler.

Manuel Ayala-Tovar, 33, faces two counts of lewdness with a toddler following an investigation that began at Manuel J. Cortez Elementary Faculty in November 2024 within the northeast Las Vegas valley close to Lake Mead and Lamb boulevards, based on police.

Ayala-Tovar has been employed as a trainer with CCSD since September 2022. He has been assigned to dwelling for the reason that investigation started per the phrases of the negotiated settlement with the bargaining unit, based on police.

Ayala-Tovar is scheduled to be in court docket on Friday, based on on-line data.
