LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A jury discovered a person responsible Thursday of killing a person and disposing of his physique in a barrel, a courtroom spokesperson stated.

The jury returned the responsible verdict towards Ryan Bentley, 45, on expenses of homicide with using a lethal weapon and conspiracy to commit homicide.

On the time of his arrest in 2022, police accused Bentley of killing Rene Enriquez at a house close to Washington Avenue and Jones Boulevard. A county employee later found Enriquez’s stays in a barrel close to Quail Avenue and Palm Road.

In courtroom paperwork, prosecutors and detectives alleged Bentley shot Enriquez for snitching on him and his pal group. Enriquez was described as Bentley’s “friend of a friend” and was planning to maneuver into Bentley’s residence, paperwork stated.

The coroner’s workplace recognized Enriquez’s stays from his tattoos, paperwork stated.

A choose will sentence Bentley on April 24.
