LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Purposes opened Monday for the Metropolis of Las Vegas’ Youth Neighborhood Affiliation Partnership Program (YNAPP), which gives grants as much as $2,000 for native youth to create and implement neighborhood-based service-learning initiatives.
YNAPP requires Las Vegas youth to match town’s grant with money, volunteer time, or in-kind providers and items donated to the venture. All initiatives are required to happen inside metropolis limits. The objective is for YNAPP youth to amass expertise in management and teamwork whereas contributing to their communities.
Las Vegas youth ages 8-18 are eligible to use for the funding.
