22-year-old dies in e-scooter crash in Boulder Metropolis

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 22-year-old man has died after a crash between an e-scooter and a automotive on Tuesday, in line with Boulder Metropolis officers.

The crash occurred simply after 5 p.m. close to Buchanan Boulevard and Boulder Metropolis Parkway. When officers arrived, they discovered the 22-year-old scooter rider with life-threatening accidents, officers stated. 

Witnesses instructed police the driving force of a automotive was leaving a parking zone and turning proper when the e-scooter rider, who was touring southbound, crashed into the automobile. Officers stated the rider was not sporting a helmet on the time.

Emergency responders took the e-scooter rider to a hospital in Las Vegas, the place he later died, the discharge stated.

The driving force stayed on the scene and totally cooperated with officers. Impairment doesn’t look like an element, officers stated.

The Nevada State Police has taken over the investigation.
