2 deadly crashes shut down main Las Vegas valley roads

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two lethal crashes closed main roadways within the Las Vegas valley Saturday, prompting visitors delays.

The primary crash occurred on Summerlin Parkway eastbound, simply west of Rampart Boulevard. Nevada State Police posted on their social media platform round 7 a.m. and mentioned the eastbound lanes had been shut down.

All visitors is being diverted onto the Rampart eastbound off-ramp. NDOT crews are on scene organising cones to help with the closure, and drivers are requested to keep away from the world for a number of hours and discover alternate routes.

The second crash closed all northbound lanes on I-11 close to Decatur Boulevard, NSP mentioned. Visitors is diverted onto the I-11/Decatur on-ramp, although regulation enforcement officers mentioned the diversion location might change because the investigation continues.

Authorities urge drivers to keep away from each areas if potential and use alternate routes whereas crews work to clear the scenes.
