12-year-old lady killed in Las Vegas college bus crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The 12-year-old lady who was hit by a college bus within the northwest Las Vegas valley is useless, in line with police.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division responded to studies of the crash involving the 12-year-old lady, an SUV, and a college bus round 3:30 p.m. on West Tropical Parkway, close to West Ann Street Monday. 

The 12-year-old was using westbound on Tropical Parkway west of Emerald Eagle Avenue within the bicycle lane. The crash occurred when she collided with the varsity bus and was projected into an SUV after which fell onto the bottom, police stated. On Tuesday, LVMPD confirmed the 12-year-old was useless.

There have been 55 college students on the bus on the time of the crash, together with a 75-year-old bus driver recognized as Lorcesa Lewis.

Nobody on the bus was injured, and impairment was not suspected, in line with police.

The Clark County Faculty District launched the next assertion Monday night:

“The District is devastated to be taught of the site visitors collision close to Tropical Parkway and Bradley Street involving a CCSD college bus and a pupil. Directors from Lied STEM Academy, together with District management, are offering help to college students and households.

The District is cooperating with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division, which is the lead investigative company.
