White Home: 'No plans' for Trump to challenge Pleasure Month proclamation

President Trump has “no plans” to challenge a proclamation recognizing June as Pleasure Month, or dedicate it to every other group or trigger, White Home press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated Tuesday. 

“There are no plans for a proclamation for the month of June,” Leavitt stated throughout a media briefing on the White Home, “but I can tell you this president is very proud to be a president for all Americans, regardless of race, religion or creed.” 

Trump declined to challenge proclamations recognizing Pleasure Month all through his first time period, although he briefly acknowledged it on social media in 2019 whereas touting his administration’s efforts to decriminalize homosexuality worldwide, the primary Republican president to take action.

Trump’s determination to not formally acknowledge Pleasure Month additionally comes as WorldPride, the worldwide LGBTQ Pleasure occasion, takes place this month in Washington.
