Video reveals suspect in Las Vegas Strip double homicide turning self in

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Video the 8 Information Now Investigators obtained Wednesday reveals Manuel Ruiz, 41, the person accused of killing a pair on the Las Vegas Strip, turning himself in to police.

Ruiz, often known as streamer “Sin City Manny,” faces two homicide fees after Las Vegas Metro police mentioned he gunned down Rodney Finley, 44; often known as “Finny Da Legend,” and his spouse, Tanisha Finley, 43, close to the Bellagio Fountains.

The confrontation on Sunday evening was caught on video throughout a livestream. It stemmed from a beef between the YouTube streamers, police mentioned.

Ruiz later turned himself in to Henderson police and informed detectives he acted in self-defense. A Henderson police officer’s physique digicam recorded as Ruiz waits within the foyer of the police station.

“Can you come over here real quick? Just face the wall right here,” the Henderson officer mentioned. “We’re just gonna detain you real quick, okay?”

Ruiz complied as one other officer positioned him in handcuffs.

“You got any weapons on you?” the officer requested.

“No,” Ruiz replied.

The primary officer retrieved a chair for Ruiz and informed him he was heading to get a lieutenant.

Ruiz was scheduled to seem in court docket on Thursday. He remained on the Clark County Detention Heart with out bail on Wednesday.
