LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A truck caught fireplace in Dying Valley Nationwide Park as a driver made its approach from Nevada to California on Thursday, in response to the Nationwide Park Service (NPS).
The fireplace passed off throughout the early morning because the truck caught fireplace whereas driving down Towne Move on the California Freeway 190 throughout the park.

The tractor-trailer was touring from Battle Mountain, Nevada, to Lengthy Seaside, California. The tractor was destroyed by the fireplace, in response to NPS. The driving force protected the trailer by disconnecting it earlier than the fireplace may unfold.
No accidents have been reported.
In 2024, six tractor-trailers and one fifth-wheel RV caught on fireplace on CA-190 inside Dying Valley Nationwide Park. Most of those incidents have been brought on by overheated brakes whereas descending steep grades. Industrial vehicles should not suggested on CA-190 via Dying Valley Nationwide Park because of steep grades. Industrial vehicles are prohibited on different roads throughout the park, in response to NPS.
