Teen taken to hospital after Las Vegas hit-and-run

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 14-year-old was taken to a neighborhood hospital after they have been hit by a car that then drove away.

In line with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division, at round 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, police responded to an incident involving a car and a pedestrian within the intersection of Abbeyfield Rose Drive and Amigo Avenue, close to St. Rose Parkway.

A darkish coloured sedan hit a 14-year-old pedestrian after which drove away from the realm, police mentioned.

Medical personnel took the teenager to a neighborhood hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.

The LVMPD reminds drivers that college is again in session and all legal guidelines in class zones must be adopted. Drivers must also train added warning when faculty buses are current.

LVMPD site visitors items are main the investigation.
