Retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division undersheriff dies at 87

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division undersheriff handed on the age of 87, the division introduced Tuesday.

Retired LVMPD Undersheriff Donald L. Denison, 87, handed away peacefully on Aug. 16. He was a proud U.S. Military veteran and served the Las Vegas group as undersheriff till 1981 when he retired.

“He will be remembered for his integrity, leadership, and devotion to both his country and family,” LVMPD mentioned in a social media publish Tuesday.

Denison later continued his dedication to public service as Director of the Nevada Division of Motor Automobiles and Public Security.
