Residents react to proposed housing mission in central Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — New flats may quickly be on the best way as Golden Leisure, which owns Arizona Charlie’s, and Fore Property Firm wish to construct housing in a vacant lot within the central Las Vegas valley.

“I really don’t support the idea,” Luisa Martinez shared with 8 Information Now. “Adding more development is going to create more crime, I believe, especially with this potential complex being right next to the casino.”

Total, the mission proposal consists of two three-story buildings with enhanced landscaping, a resort-style pool, clubhouse, and state-of-the-art health middle.

Las Vegas Metropolis Councilman Brian Knudsen of ward 1 shared the next assertion with 8 Information Now forward of Tuesday’s assembly.

“Housing is one of the most critical needs in our valley and I’m excited to work with the developer and the surrounding neighborhoods to make this another premier community for Las Vegas.”
