Purple, white, and blue on show at Boulder Metropolis's 77th Annual Damboree Parade

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Boulder Metropolis’s Fourth of July parade is a robust contender for probably the most patriotic occasions in southern Nevada, as festivities kicked off Friday with a flyover from a veterans group. 

The 77th Annual Damboree began at 9 a.m. on the intersection of Colorado and Nevada Manner, ending at Broadbent Park. The route had a sea of purple, white, and blue. 

“If you want to know what the best part of Fourth of July is to me, it’s the display of patriotism,” Roger Riley, who was together with his grandchildren and youngsters, mentioned. “It means everything. I’m very happy to share this with them.”

His 9-year-old granddaughter Skyler Huertas was excited to be a part of the festivities. Her favourite a part of the parade? 

“The veterans and everybody that helps the world become a better place,” Huertes mentioned.
