Police: Van driver flees scene after deadly crash in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are searching for the driving force of a van concerned in a crash that left one man lifeless.

The crash occurred on Wednesday round 5:40 p.m. on Rainbow Boulevard and Laredo Road, simply south of Sahara Avenue. Based on Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the driving force of the van ran a cease signal and collided with an Audi TT driving on Rainbow. The crash brought about the van to spin round and hit a person crossing the road. The 62-year-old man died on the scene.

Police mentioned the driving force of the Chevrolet Categorical Van ran away from the crash scene. The Audi’s driver, a 38-year-old lady, was not injured and confirmed no indicators of impairment.

The Clark County Coroner’s workplace will launch the person’s identification. He’s the forty eighth traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2025.
