Police, SWAT reply to theft turned barricade in southwest Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police and SWAT responded to a theft turned barricade within the southwest Las Vegas valley Tuesday afternoon.

Round 12:25 p.m., Metro police responded to a report of a theft within the 7500 block of Lush Oasis Avenue close to Buffalo Drive and Windmill Lane. Police mentioned the sufferer was working within the neighborhood when an individual got here up and robbed them at knife-point.

The suspect then entered a house and refused to exit, leading to police deeming the incident a barricade. SWAT and disaster negotiators responded to the incident.
