Police search for driver suspected of impairment who fled crash in east Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are investigating a crash that despatched one individual to the hospital with critical accidents Friday morning and closed a serious east valley avenue.

The crash was reported round 5 a.m. on Nellis Boulevard, south of Charleston Boulevard. In accordance with the Las Vegas Metropolitan police, a driver, suspected of impairment, misplaced management whereas driving on Charleston and struck a fence after which a retaining wall, earlier than fleeing the scene on foot. A passenger within the automobile was transported to a neighborhood hospital.

Nellis reopened to site visitors round 7 a.m. after being closed for just a few hours.
