LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Bullhead Metropolis police officer was stabbed and one other was punched throughout a home violence name on Wednesday, police mentioned Thursday.
Vanessa Marie Jacquez, 39, faces fees of assault – home violence, disorderly conduct – home violence, aggravated assault with a lethal weapon towards a peace officer leading to critical bodily damage, and aggravated assault towards a peace officer.
Bullhead Metropolis is throughout the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada, about 125 miles southeast of Las Vegas.
Police have been known as to the 1900 block of Artesia Drive on Wednesday at about 8 p.m. by a person who reported his daughter was aggressive and uncontrolled. The girl was combative and uncooperative with cops.
One officer was punched and one other was stabbed within the thigh with a knife, in response to a Bullhead Metropolis Police Division social media put up.
The officer who was stabbed was taken to the Western Arizona Regional Medical Middle by ambulance. He obtained 4 stitches and was launched from the hospital, police mentioned.
Jacquez was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
