Police crackdown ends in 23 arrests throughout DUI blitz

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Almost two dozen drivers have been arrested throughout a current DUI blitz within the Las Vegas valley.

“Remember there are too many safe options to drive impaired,” a put up on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division’s X account acknowledged. There have been 23 DUI arrests, 164 citations, and two different arrests for different crimes that police did not launch particulars on.

The DUI blitz occurred on Saturday, March 22, and concerned officers from LVMPD, North Las Vegas and the Nevada State Police.

Metro police are conducting DUI blitzes recurrently to crack down on DUI drivers.
