Pentagon watchdog investigating Hegseth's use of Sign

The Protection Division’s inner watchdog is investigating Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth’s use of the messaging app Sign to debate extremely delicate army data, in line with a newly launched memo.

The probe will have a look at whether or not Hegseth complied with all Protection Division insurance policies when he used a gaggle chat to debate particulars of a strike towards Houthi militants in Yemen final month.
