Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash in east Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian is lifeless after a hit-and-run crash within the east Las Vegas valley Wednesday evening.

Round 10:20 p.m., Metro police responded to the world of Stewart Avenue and Pecos Street after a report of a pedestrian hit.

Police mentioned a car was driving eastbound on Stewart Avenue, approaching Mojave Street when it struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian later succumbed to their accidents and was pronounced lifeless on the scene, police mentioned.

The suspected car concerned within the crash left the scene earlier than officers arrived and was nonetheless excellent as of 11 p.m. Wednesday.

All eastbound lanes on Stewart Avenue had been closed at Mojave Street, in keeping with RTC Southern Nevada,
